Tina Schultz
Tina Schultz, who hails from Pittsburgh, PA, is currently the Director of Communication for the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID). Her previous experience includes working for U.S. Representative Mike Doyle as press secretary both in his district office in Pittsburgh and on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. Tina started her work career as development specialist for the Easter Seal Society of Western Pennsylvania after she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. Debra Russell, I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and  work as an interpreter, educator and researcher. I began learning ASL in the late 1970's and started interpreting in the early 1980's. At the time I had no idea that this would be a journey of language, culture and life-long learning, but I feel so lucky to have created life work in this field.
